Data Deletion Policy

1. Introduction

At ToScoreMore (a venture of Laboni Media Solutions LLP), we respect your right to privacy and control over your personal information.
This Data Deletion Policy explains how users (students, parents, or schools) can request the deletion of their personal data and what happens when such a request is made.
This policy should be read together with our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.

2. Scope of the Policy

This policy applies to all users of the ToScoreMore App, website, and related services, including:
• Students (Grades 6–10)
• Parents or guardians
• Teachers or school administrators
• Any registered or guest users who have interacted with the app

3. User Rights under Law

As per India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDP Act), 2023, and international best practices (such as COPPA and GDPR principles), you have the right to:
• Request deletion of your personal or child’s account data.
• Withdraw consent for data processing.
• Request confirmation that your data has been deleted from our systems.
We process such requests promptly and transparently.

4. Types of Data That Can Be Deleted

Upon a verified deletion request, the following types of data will be permanently removed from our systems:
• Account details (name, grade, email ID, profile image if any)
• Learning data (quiz scores, progress reports, leaderboards)
• Communication records (emails, messages, or support tickets)
• Analytics and app usage data linked to the user’s identity
Non-personal, aggregated data (e.g., anonymized performance averages used for educational analytics) may be retained for research and improvement purposes, as it cannot be used to identify any individual.

5. How to Request Data Deletion

You can request account and data deletion in any of the following ways:

A. Via Email
Send an email to scoremore.sup@gmail.com with the subject line:
“Data Deletion Request – [Your Registered Email / Student Name]”
Please include the following details for verification:
1. Registered email ID or mobile number
2. Student name and class
3. Reason for deletion (optional)
4. Confirmation statement:
“I confirm that I wish to permanently delete my account and associated data from ToScoreMore.”

B. From Within the App
If enabled, users can navigate to:
Profile → Delete My Account
Follow the confirmation steps to permanently remove data from our active systems.

6. Verification and Processing Timeline

When using ToScoreMore, you agree to:
• We verify all deletion requests to prevent unauthorized access or deletion.
• Once verified, deletion is completed within 7–15 working days.
• A confirmation email will be sent after successful deletion.
If deletion cannot be completed (e.g., due to legal or audit requirements), we will inform you of the reason and timeline.

7. Data Retention Exceptions

We may retain minimal data if:
• Required by law or regulation (e.g., financial transactions, audit trails).
• Needed to resolve disputes, enforce terms, or prevent abuse.
• Aggregated data that cannot identify individuals remains for internal analysis.
All retained data is stored securely and access is strictly limited.

8. Data Deletion for Children

For users under 18 years, data deletion requests must be submitted by a parent, guardian, or school administrator.
We may require proof of relationship or verification before processing such requests to protect child privacy.

9. Effect of Deletion

Once deletion is complete:
• All personal information and activity history are erased.
• Access to the app, quizzes, and reports is permanently disabled.
• Any connected progress-sharing (with schools or parents) will be discontinued.
